Artist's Comments

The final, and complete version of my magazine layout for a fictional magazine. It's an interview with Asian pop sensation Ayumi Hamasaki.

I love what you've done with the photos, very swish :D

I like the idea of the plastic wrap, but not too sure about the edges of the masthead lettering, looks a bit pixelly, otherwise lovely job. (I like the bolder headings in the interview too ;))

Deffinately wouldn't look out of place in smiths.

Ah, it's only pixellated because I exported it from InDesign as a PDF document, then imported it into Photoshop and made it smaller. Doing that tends to have a pixellating effect on things, for a while I was having a problem where the pink edges of the floral patterns were going grainy and not joining up properly.

Should look fine when I get it all printed out professionally though, problems like that have cleared up in the past when I've taken it to the printers.

In like it, great eye for style, you know that:).

The A is wrong, tho:D

Even Destiny, Even Fate, I'll change it.
Because I've already seen truly fearful things.
:iconblunt28:
Ah cool, didn't think something like that would get past without a good explanation

I'd love to get some of my stuff printed professionally, you going to a printers who use the cmyk plate printing method thing like proper magazine printers?
:iconedgefusion:
We have a professional printing company within the college I'm at who have all the fancy printers and stuff. I ogle their Powermac's as I go past the window every morning...
:iconedgefusion:
No it isn't...

Maybe you've seen themed variations of the 'A' logo, but that is the logo.
